Project Overview

This project involved the design and complete implementation of network infrastructure for an office complex with more than 50 users. The goal was to create a stable, secure and scalable network covering the organization's current and future needs.

Challenges

The office building had 3 floors with limited cabling space. There was also a need to separate office and guest network traffic.

Solution

• Tree topology design using managed switches
• Cat6A cabling to support 10Gbps
• VLAN configuration for traffic separation
• Installation and configuration of a hardware firewall
• Creation of technical documentation and network maps

Results

The network was successfully launched and passed all performance tests. Internal bandwidth was upgraded to 10Gbps and annual downtime was reduced to less than 1 percent.
